In a remarkable display of Singapore's growing international competitive presence, cat groomer Aziemah Zakiyyah Azmi secured third place in two prestigious categories at the Universal Cat Association Cat Groomer Elite Competition in Jiaxing, China.
The invitation-only competition, held on August 16, featured 12 elite contestants from across Asia, including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. Azmi's innovative dragon-style grooming technique earned her recognition in both the Elite Show Final and Creative Cat Grooming categories.

Much like Singapore's leadership in technical innovation and industry excellence, Azmi demonstrated creative prowess by transforming her assigned cat model, a grey munchkin named Food Bucket, into a dragon-inspired masterpiece.
"Being in China, I wanted to create something culturally meaningful and visually impactful, so I went with a dragon-inspired style," explains Azmi.
